What do I charge?

There are two rates: I do the vast majority of my teaching in the comfort of your own home (which obviously involves more time and expense from me) and a few lessons from home in Prestwich.

Teaching in your own home

• £27 per 60 mins = £108 for 4
• £21 per 45 mins = £84 for 4
• £16 per 30 mins = £64 for 4

Teaching in my home

• £24 per 60 mins = £96 for 4
• £18 per 45 mins = £72 for 4
• £13 per 30 mins = £52 for 4

Usually lessons are weekly, though adults sometimes prefer an hour fortnightly. These costs are fixed until 31/8/2010 at which time they will be reviewed.

Payment by cheque or cash is made for 4 lessons in advance - this means that you are not always getting your cheque-book out and we can concentrate on music! You can post payment or do a BACS transfer if you prefer.

There may be other costs, in particular tutor books and exam entrance fees (if you want to!), and these will be charged at cost.
