Policy

I find it always helps to be clear from the start - it really all just boils down to being considerate to one another.

• I undertake to be on time and ready for your lesson - I'd appreciate the same from you! That said, when I'm teaching in your home, I am subject to traffic problems so please bear with me.
• Payment should be made in advance for a block of 4 - more info here
• Non-attendance or cancellation for any reason of an arranged lesson without 24 hours notice will be forfeit and be charged for.
• I am happy to try to re-arrange a lesson time given 24 hours notice (preferably more of course!)
• It should be understood that no progress is possible without the student having regular access to a piano or digital (touch-sensitive) equivalent.
• Out of respect for my piano, I ask that all students arrive with clean hands and with reasonably short fingernails (pianists use the fleshy end of their fingers, not clicky nails!)
